As in the old times “Puck Fair” is held every year (10th, 11th and 12th August) during which a wild goat is crowned king of Killorglin, a folk festival, which should not be missed by anybody who happens to be in the area at the time – horse and cattle fair, fun fair, crafts market, Irish dancing and traditional music.
This event is all about meeting old friends and making new ones, a festival for everybody to enjoy: just as the people of Killorglin did hundreds of years ago, it is still the highlight of the year nowadays.
